Autotap doesnt work on my car...?

Autotap doesnt work on my car...? Tried using a friends autotap on my car tonite and it gives a message saying no connection. Its not a problem on the computer/autotap side because it works on other cars...
Could be a bent pin or something on my diagnostic port? any other ideas?

Re: Autotap doesnt work on my car...? check the fuse which powers the cig . lighter as this fuse also powers the OBD connection, also be sure the atap softwear is set to use the correct com port on the computer

check the fuse which powers the cig . lighter as this fuse also powers the OBD connection, also be sure the atap softwear is set to use the correct com port on the computer
