Having recently changed the intake, my money is on a pinched knock sensor wire...

I took it off again today to fix a coolant leak ( ls6 plug) and I didn't see a pinched wire. Also The intake was on for about 2 weeks without it going off.

Is there any chance that coolant from that leak got under the rubber knock sensor cover? If so, it will puddle up in the cavity the sensor sits in and it will definetly throw that code. Also, it wont throw the code immediatly, it takes a while for the code to set and the MIL to illuminate....my tahoe did it a week after the engine was cleaned. These motors are notorious for getting water in the knock sensor pockets, and throwing that code. Seems like no mater how carefull you are degreasing your motor, water will get in those little buggers. Just a consideration to check

Im not sure which one is sensor 2, but i would pop the intake, pull the rubber caps off the knock sensors and blow the cavity out with a air nozzle. If water shoots out everywhere....you found your problem! then u can check for a pinched wire too. Option 2....it happened to my wifes tahoe also, and i just drove it for 2 weeks, and the light turned itself off after whatever water that accumulated evaporated from engine heat. That probably wasnt the best thing to do, but im working overtime and didn't feel like pulling the intake after work all week. But if your gonna go out and beat on the car and make passes, i would get that knock sensor sorted out first. Wife just gets groceries

I'm going to rule ot the gas since I drove a good bit today with new gas and some booster added to it. Also i don't think it it is wet because the coolant was dripping down the back of the block and on the trans. So I quess I have a pinch or a bad sensor. Also does anyone know which one is sensor 2?

Sensor one is the front, sensor two is the rear (nearest the firewall). If the car is running fine use the predator to see if you're getting any KR/clear the code a couple times to see if it comes back.

Yeah I have cleared it 3 times. I'm also watching the live data while driving. When I floor it in 5th at 2k it will show 3.96 KR and I did a full 2nd gear pull and it shows 3.96 when it reaches 4k.

Well I went ahead and pulled off the intake and found that there was a good amount of water in the #2 KR sensor. I replaced it and siliconed the boots and the car runs like a champ.

Glad to hear Josh. Sorry I wasn't able to make it over to help. I got home around 10 and figured it was too late to call to see if you still needed help, so I went to working my car lol. Weld broke and passenger side header separated from the Y-pipe.
