First question with LS1edit

First question with LS1edit Finally got Ls1Edit today! I have a "westers" pcm and the stock pcm for my 99 truck. Can I "read" both pcm's and save to file for future reference since they both have the same vin#? Will the LS1edit work on the "westers" pcm since it will give me an easier starting point for editing than the stock pcm? The a/f is too rich and the idle surges with the "westers" pcm so I will need some tuning tips in that area.
