Time for dyno tune
Well after swapping my stock 853's for my home ported 243's i can say i found the reason for such a low MPH!! The exhaust side of the heads were caked with junk. i mean like 1/16th thick, thats alot in that little hole. When you would punch it, it would blow alot of black smoke, and when it hit 3rd gear it would just dog out, like i let up on the pedal. Also i might have some leaky injectors or just running so rich its just dumping fuel. i pulled the intake and all the cylinders with the intake valves fully seated had gas built up in them. I can only imagine how bad this is hurting performance. How do i check for a leaky injector?? Can i leave the fuel rail connected but off the manifold with all the injectors clipped in and turn it on??
