Default Car won't stay running after turbo install

I have this installed:

GT70
230/230 .591/.591
4l60e ss4000
ls6 intake
241 heads
60#ers
walbro 255
2 bar map sensor

My tune is set up for the oem map with maf. The maf isn't on now. Is there any way with my 98 serial version to help my situation out? The car will start and rev up to 2200 or so rpm and then die. It won't sputter or anything, it just dies.

I don't have my tuning laptop with me. Did you fail the maf? Did you set it up for SD? Did you adjust the IFR? Did you reduce the min pulse width?

You tuned it for the 60's.

I did install the fuel pump though. It seems like the fuel pressure gauge drops to zero right when it cuts off and then goes back up after its cut off. What the hell could that be? Or is it just coincidence?

I don't know about the fuel pressure. That's sounds weird.

Would I have to do anything for the new pump?

Nope. Scan it. Check for codes.

Just for starters you are running a 2 bar map sensor with a 1 bar OS. Either license and install the 2 bar SD OS or put the 1 bar map sensor and MAF back in it or leave the maf off and fail it correctly to force it into SD mode. You are running 60# @ ? bar (probably 3 bar) injectors but your IFR table is set up for 46# @ 4 bar injectors. Fix those things before you go any further

Ed setup the injectors. I'm new to this. For instance, how do you fail the maf in correctly? The injectors were purchased from speed inc listed as 60#ers. So how would I fix this? The car ran perfect with the n/a tune. I added the gt70, the walbro fuel pump, and the 2 bar map and removed the maf. Any help would be appreciated.

I went out and tried to start it again. I'm thinking there is something cutting off the fuel pressure. As soon as it starts, the bitch cuts off.

Take the 2 bar out, or apply the 2 bar OS. That's your biggest problem right now.

You can fail the maf by just setting the fail hz to zero. In the engine diagnostic section, under airflow I believe.

Apply the OS, save the tune with a different name, do a write entire, and send me the file. I'll set it up tomorrow and send it back. That's what I thought we were gonna do anyways.....

I can't apply the 2 bar os yet, I'm waiting on getting my interface version back.

Hey Rodney, I don't have any record of me making any changes to your tune recently. I know we had talked about it, but it doesn't look like I've ever done anything with it.

Unless its a free change, I can't afford it Ed. I have to pay another 100 bucks to get the 2 bar os for the interface that was an additional 200 bucks. Thats 300 total. Its a ******* money pit that won't run

I understand, but please don't tell everyone I tuned it for 60 pound injectors, when I don't believe I did. I can't find any record of it.

You are the only person that has tuned my car. I took it to you when you were over there off of indian river road and paid you 600 bucks to tune the car. I have no idea how to tune, and someone says that it was not tuned for the 60 pound injectors and now you are saying that you didn't tune my car?

So the injectors are not scaled properly like they should have been when I took it to you, is that what I'm gathering from this?

Did you have 60 pound injectors in your car when you brought it to me?

Yes.....I changed them when I swapped the cam out. That is when I brought it to get tuned.

I'll look at your tune and the dyno form you filled out, but I don't remember it having 60s. If it did, then they I did not scale them correctly.

Well that sucks. I can assure you that I had 60#ers then. I had those before I moved to back to Virginia, I bought them when I was down in hilton head. The only thing that I have changed is I added the turbo, took out the maf, added the walbro, changed to the 2 bar map, and changed out converters.
