Need help on pcm im swaping out my 00 4.8 to a 01 5.3 my problem is my buddy has hp tuners and i was wondering if i take a drive by wire pcm can i retune it with hpt to run a drive by cable i was researching on here and someone said a 03 can go either way im not sure if someone can help help me on this

its not its a drive by cable i was wondering if any 03 pcm can run dbc with a hp tune and i dont have a pcm yet bc i wanna figure if i can use a 03

no i wanna use my buddys hp tuners so i dont have to buy another license thats why im looking for a 03 bc he has 03-06 so i guess i just gotta buy the license to program the 01 pcm
