Default Diagnose SES Problem

I have codes P0155 and P0160.
P0155
O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)
P0160
O2 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 2)

I've got a Simm on the bank 2 sensor 1 (edit: Sensor 2).....

I replaced Bank 2 sensor 1 and noticed that the sim on bank 2 sensor 2 had been disconnected. Reconnected Sim and replaced front 02. 10 miles later the sensor was fried. Scanned it and got the same two codes.

Unwrapped all the wiring and nothing was melted.

Pulled throttle body and looked for oil thinking maybe a bad PCV. No oil.

I don't have Auto Tap Or Edit. Please help me diagnose this problem. Thanks. Nick

You know that bank 2 is passenger side?
Sensor 1 is the pre-cat o2 , you don't have a simm there do you?
Sensor #2 are post cat & are where the simms s/b installed.
Simms go bad & with that code that's prolly it.
Maybe you got the wrong o2 during your original diagnostic?
You can use a rear to put in place of a front & see if it fixes your prob.

Default Re: Diagnose SES Problem

Woops, Sims are after my cats. Bank 2 sensor 2 is what I meant to say.

I took an 02 from the back and moved it forward on the original diagnosis. It toasted within 10 miles.

P0160 seems to be a common code(when related to sim not present without cat). P0155 seems rare (From the searches I've conducted on this and similar UBB)and it doesn't seem comon for both those codes together. I'll try swapping the sims left to right to see if I get the same code on the opposite side.

Could this be a bent push rods or header leak? This really sucks. Car has 10K miles.......

Thanks, Wrencher
