i installed the ign. box on my 2000 t/a with efi, so i also bought the adapter harness #8886. i put in the curve 1 pill until i get a serial to usb cable to do my own tuning. it wouldnt fire at all, it was cranking tho. i unhooked the coil simulators from the factory harness and unhooked the msd from just the coil packs and plugged the factory harnness back in. and it will fire up from the pcm tune but its running very rich, ~12:1 and tapping the throttle it would go to about 10:1. i tried driving it around my parking lot which it would do but when i pressed in the clutch it revved steady at about 3000 with me off the gas. i parked it, turned it off, restarted it and tapped the throttle in neutral and it stayed at 2000 for about 10 seconds by itself before going back to idle speed. anyone know what could be the problem? it worked perfectly just before i began installing the box.

ive found out why it wasnt running off the box, the 1,3,5,7 coil cable and the 2,4,6,8 cable were switched, doh! it works now. i just need to tune it now

that would do it, you have to remember that #1 is on the drivers side
