Default just got my HP tuners... any advice before i start?

Hey guys, just got my HP tuners VCM suite v2.0 today and just wanted to see if you guys had any pointers, tips, tricks, or things to watch out for or avoid? i really want to tune my car, but i would like to refrain from blowing the motor.

buy the tuning book. how much did you pay for it?

oh and RAED READ READ READ READ through the forum on their website.

if youve never tuned a car before like me, and dont know too much about sensors and what not your going to wants to probably pick up a book and READ

Even after you do lots of reading and research...make your first few changes VERY VERY small ones...you might not notice much difference in how the car behaves...but you will be learning what you're doing with less risk of damage.

And hold onto your original tune. Keep it as a master so when you make changes, if something gets focked up, you can go back to the original.
