Default Dtc p0300

Now that I have installed a cam in my car... rather large, 236/240 @ 112 lsa.

I get this code while having the car idle... now, I have heard of a bad 02 sensor, plug wires... ect.

Checked all the plugs/wires, there all fine... 02's are about 5000 miles old.

Any ideas? can this get tuned out?

Mis-fire. I have HPTuner.....in Editor>Engine Diagnostics>Misfire there is an idle adjustment. Never used it so can't really help with what to do.

Here is a set of configs to scan misfires... http://www.hptuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9329 Post #10

it can be tuned out or made less sensitive. i have been told there is a way to make it less sensitive at lower rpms.

Yes unless you know someone with HP Tuner or EFILive. If it is a result of a tune that your tuner did, then I would see him for sure. He will help you.
