motor felt like it didnt want to rev over 5500 in 4th?! help
ok i was racing this supercharged steeda mustang, and yes i won guys lol anyway, i was rolling at about 115-125 in 4th and the car alomst felt like it was stuck at 5500 or slowly creeping up. i had my windows down so i was thinking it was just becasue of the air flowing in the back really fast and acting like a parachute. the motor reved in 1st to 6200 no problem. i heard a pop at about 6000 by what the tach gauge was at but i think just cause of its delay i was really at 6200 and just hit the rev limit. let me know yoru opinions please

If the car didn't come with Z rated tires from the factory, then I believe the PCM will limit the top speed to like 115 to 120.

Did it feel like it just fell flat on its face??? Any SES light??? Runs normal otherwise still???
It's a WS6, so it had Z rated tires.
If the car didn't come with Z rated tires from the factory, then I believe the PCM will limit the top speed to like 115 to 120.

If it felt like the car was stuttering, then you hit one of your limiters. The car feels like its choking for about 2 seconds.

i did but it was a long long time ago, well not long long but over 4 months or so. why do you ask? bent pushrods? i have no probelms at lower speeds with it gettin up there so i think its just the wind, but let me know

it wouldnt have been higher than 7200 when i missed the shift cause i was doin a little under 90 and missed 4th and into 2nd. but i cought it really really fast. heard the tires squeal and punched that clutch back in. didnt feel any different. but i was thinking about replacing my pushrods when i did my ls6 intake, how hard is it to replace the pushrods?
