Default quick vats question

i have a remote start in my car and the resistor for vats went bad and i removed it. i was going to get another one but i have to take a trip to my tuner and i was just wondering if he can tune it out without me having anyproblems and have my remote start work again

most tuning software has the option for changing how Vats works - as well as turning it off.

Why dont you ask your tuner?

He can turn it off in the PCM so you get the injector pulse for fuel, but you still need to do something with the starter interlock
