That is interesting. Can't wait to get my Innovate wideband installed, and the RPM cable (which I ordered last week ) up and running.

Re: VERY INTERESTING thread on dyno tuning vs real world
Intresting, but I have always wondered about the accuracy of the readings from O2's, especially at higher RPM's when the reversion effect could be pulling raw fuel and fresh air into the exhaust. Maybe that would explain the ping with a 11:1 ratio on that last graph. Regardless it is good data to see. Hummm seems someone on here was talking about an afordable wideband. Anybody know where to get one?

A friend just got his Friday and spent the weekend using it on a Turbo C4 vette. He's impressed with it.

Makes perfect sence, but load affects A/F in a big way.Inbetween shifts it will go lean because of lack of load.
I've found that on my car 13-1 gives me the best dyno #'s but 12.5-1 gives me the best track times.(As much as 3mph)

My car takes much more fuel on the street. I'm sure it is cause of the FTRA, but all will differ some due to air flow and load. Good reading!

Exactly why I tune all of our cars on the street or track.
You wouldn't BELIEVE how much criticism I get for this . . . but the cars I have tune are NAAAAAAASTY FAST

Re: VERY INTERESTING thread on dyno tuning vs real world
This is how I tune. I have a wideband sensor were the second set of o2 bungs would be (no cats). I tune going up a fairly steep hill, 3% grade at 5000 ft. If I want more load there is a 8000 ft pass and a 11000 ft pass as well.
I get a full load, full wind and road resistance which I think is essential on a turbocharged car.

I would of liked to read that thread...I guess thats why its better to tune the cars rich on the dyno to compensate for the load on the street...
