The Guy in MY 99TA

I was cruising around this weekend and I pulled up to a red light and she just died! I pushed it off the road and popped the hood. I looked around and didn't notice anything wrong. I pulled the lid off and figured something might have had the airfilter clogged or something or maybe something was wrong with the wires of the maf. I decided to try my stocker and went back and pulled it out. I loosed the GMAF up and put the stock one on. Then under inspection the BACK SIDE of the MAF, where the little computer board thing was, had MELTED. I couldn't see any signs of anthing busting it b/c the whole thing actually looked like someone had drilled all the way around the sides and left shavings in the little jelly stuff on the inside.

But I did put the stocker on and she ran fine.

Anyone heard of this happening before?
