HPP3 help.
Will using the HPP3 "engine tuning" hurt power once LT's are installed and EGR/AIR are deleted? I'm pinging at 5k+ now and wondered if this had anything to do with it? TIA.

Yes im going to say that it does have something to do with it, I would defiantly take the tuning out. All the tuning does is add like 2 degrees of timing.

yes, if you're pinging right now, do not use their tuning...
It increases timing, smoothes out the timing curve (stock near peark torque timing is reduced to prevent detonation), and leans the car out...
As soon as I got LS1 Edit, i copied their tuning... not very impressed...

YOU SHOULDENT BE PINNIG ESPACIALLY WITH HEADDERS, BUT HELL TO THE TEST REMOVE IT, UN PLUG BATTERY AND LET IT SIT FOR A MIN. THEN PLUG IT BACK IN AND GIVE IT LIKE A WEEK TO RELEARN IT SELF AND IF IT STOPPS THEN IT WAS IT IF SO AND YOUR UNIT IS NEW OR HELL EVEN IF ITS FAIRLY NEW ID CALL EM UP AND COMPLAIN JUST LIE AND CALL YOUR CAR STOCK THEY WILL RETUNE IT BAISED ON THE INFO THE UNIT HAD SNACHED UP FORM YOUR CAR, HELL IT WORKED FOR ME, BUT LIKE I SAID WITH HEADDERS YOU SHOULD BE RUNNIG RICH ON STOCK TUNNING SO THE TUNNING SHOULD COMPLIMENT IT NICELY imo
