chipped ecm
i bought my 94 formula a little while back and the guy said that it hat a JET chip, how do i know if it actually does, or if he is full or crap, where would it be located etc....

okay thats what i thought, it would appear that i was lied to, mine has no "chip" or module in it at all, the guy ended up screwing me all around. he didnt have a title, which i was let know after i paid him, no more long distance car purchases, without cash, and title in hand. and now lied to about this

wow are they really that bad... jets, website said that it would work well with headers, free flow exhaust, and a cold air intake. do they actually not work that well

You're better off tuning the stock PCM...plus software and a cable for 94-95 OBD1 LT1's is very very very inexpensive. It's a non-sponsor, so I can't post a link, but the best software for that PCM is called TunerCat (for tuning) and DataMaster (for datalogging), and there are a variety of cable sources.

so are you saying that i can tune my pcm myself with my laptop? if you can email me some links of the sites to tune my car, and somewhere i can get a cable that would be great. also do i need datalogging?
