Default more damn comp/gauge problems

i replaced my PCM a month and a half ago when i put my cam in. The shop that did the work put a new clutch in too. Well the slave was leaking so i took it back and the warrentied it and put a new one in and i had them put in solid motor mounts too. Well they call me today and say they have a small problem... the car threw a code and when they plugged tech 2 into it they couldnt connect to the PCM. nothing at all. They turned the car off scratched their head turned it back on and then they still couldnt connect to the PCM and the tach/gas gauge/engine temp needles were dead.

I figured the gauge cluster thing is a blown fuse but wtf can be causing the no connection to the PCM? id love to get this solved ASAP.

anyone have any ideas?

It is also possible that a pin was bent or wires damaged when the new PCM was installed. The dash cluster in these cars is kinda like a scan tool, there's not individual signal wires for each gauge, so the tech 2 connection issue and the dash cluster is in fact the same issue.
