Thank you for the feedback, (I have been on the dyno plenty). What I was looking for was an answer with some numbers. I know there is no one answer, but just a ballpark average is what I'm looking for.

What do people think of these numbers...

What is considered "normal/safe" timing with pump gas (93 octane) with 9.5:1 CR.
1. Idle - 10 deg
2. Cruise - 15 deg
3. WOT (no boost) - 22 deg
4. WOT (boost) - 16 deg
5. Decel (0-50 kpa) - 25 deg

What is considered "normal/safe" AFR with pump gas (93 octane) with 9.5:1 CR.
6. Idle - 14:1
7. Cruise - 15.5:1
8. WOT (no boost) - 12.5:1
9. WOT (boost) - 11:1
10. Decel (0-50 kpa) - 16.5:1

Actually the decel should be about 13:1 afr

Idle should be about 15deg in park and about 20deg in drive for auto.

I wanted to say one more thing... Several years back I started off tuning with the old DFI and tried to get some so called "experts" users to give me a base map to get me started. I ran into so many brick walls that I wanted to go back to a carb and MSD ignition. These jerks were guarding their programs like the location of the "Ark" was hidden in the code. With this in mind, I want to say thank you to all those who don’t mind sharing their maps with new users. Sometimes it just takes a "kick off" to get a beginner going in the right direction and it may even save that persons engine.

P.S. If anyone ever wants to see pics of my MAPs, let me know and I will convert all of them to JPEG and post them here.
