SES Code P0300
So my car threw the SES code P0300 yesterday.
Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire detected.
Explanation: The powertrain control module monitors the crankshaft speed and has detected a misfire condition.
Probable cause:
1. Ignition system fault-spark plug(s), ignition wires, coil
2. Vacuum Leak
3. Injector fault
4. high or low fuel pressure
I erased the code and took the car for a decent drive and the light didn't come back on. I know it will eventually so I'm debating what to address first..
My best bet to start is change out the wires&plugs, right?

I had a chronic problem with a p0300 on a 97 v6 camaro, and the dealership started with the plugwires, moved on to sparkplugs and then rechecked wire routing (ls1's don't really have the wire routing issue).
At any rate, it reduced the occurance of random engine misfires, but they still occasionally happened, and it never really caused a problem for the few times it occurred.
I would start with wires IMO.

I had a lean condition causing P0300.
How many miles are on your car? Did it happen after racing or anything? It's possible the pump farted or something during WOT.

do you have a good scanner? can you look at fuel trims? what are the long term fuel trims for both banks? if it's zero don't look for vacuum leak, but if they are on the plus side, look for vacuum leaks, bad intake gaskets, or any way that more air than needed could be getting in after the MAF. Fuel trim levels would greatly help here
