Default Lingenfelter 2 step issue

im having problems with this lingenfelter 2 step with timing retard. i have three logs, what happens is it will studder the motor like it is suppose to, but when i take off to drive normal it starts popping and backfires so bad it shuts off. i can then unplug the 2 step from the coils and the car will run perfect. the first log (run mon)is when it back fires and dies, "runmon3 and runmon 4" are with it unplugged. if anyone can take a look and tell me what they think id appreciate it. thanks again.

also im using hp tuner 3 bar sd tune with no 02's, just a wideband working off the VE table. my Air fuel im not worried about, i am worried about the timing. motor is a 370, 8:1 compression, 88mm turbo. ls6 intake, 6L heads.

tr7 plugs, runs great in boost and out without it. gap is around 24 i believe. i the car will back fire and pop real bad when studdering, so loud it sounds like a gun shot.

Mine made a terrible racket when it was active but pulls clear as soon as you let it go. Have you tried running it without the timing reduction?
