Controlling spark only with the LS1 PCM?

Not a realistic idea, PCM would go nuts with all the stuff not working and/or connected. MSD makes a computer module to run the ignition for swaps that are running a carb.

I know MSD makes that box...I've used it before. It's not an ideal setup for powerful turbo or nitrous cars though because it has a few issues powering the coils.
I've seen the stock PCM used to control spark only before, I think it was on here or yellowbullet. I don't see why it would be an issue. Basically just eliminating the injectors and MAF.
