Knock Sensor
Hey guys my car is getting some Knock when ever I spray. Well at least it says it has knock according to HP tuners. How can I determine false knock compared to actual knock? Is my knock sensor setup to sensitive? I know I changed the settings, but still not sure what is going on. I pulled a lot of timing more than plenty even put it on race gas still knock. Any help is appreciated. My setup is a 2005 5.3 with a 4L60E.

Even after fatting the mixture and pulling alot of timing (say 8-10* off MBT), if it still knocks only when spraying, I'd try reducing the shot to something really small (smallest shot you have), see if maybe some kind of resonance through the mouting of the noids are causing false knock.

What do you mean by MBT? I have pulled about 4 degrees overall and some places where I had knock I pulled more up to 8 and 12. The noids are mounted on a bar across the top of the intake so there is no actual contact with noids. Is there acceptable amount of knock? I will try a smaller shot and back some more timing any other suggestions. It is a wet shot do I need to fatten up the mixture?

The pills in the car now are 150's. But it still would knock sometimes on the 75. It picks and chooses. I will do some more testing and see what I can do. I will try to get a fuel pressure gauge and hook it up to the rail and see if there is a drop in pressure. Any other suggestions will be appreciated.
