Default want to experiment with an experiment, what's involved?

basically, i want to try this:

i know nothing about tuning, so here are my questions; is it possible to program the transmission to use those shift points in only (3) and not (D)? and what would it cost to do this? i don't know how the whole license/credit thing works, i've had my car dyno tuned once already, and know someone with HPtuners if it's easy to do

if your car is already licensed with the guy that has hp tuners it will be free unless he wants to charge you... thats acually not a bad idea, but no you cant make it so it does these special shift points in 3 and not D...

you could do it to the perf table and have a button you press that turns it on
