F-body vs. Truck PCM
If I were to get a truck PCM flashed with an F-body program will the pin outs change on the PCM? Seems like a simple question but so far I can't find a straight answer.

The PCM itself is the same for any given year, so if you take a truck PCM with the same service part number, and flash it with an F-body VIN, it is now an F-body PCM.

The reason I was asking is because I have a 5.7L f-body LS1 in my 1998 S-10. The place that I bought the wire harness from told me to use a 5.3L PCM. They then flashed the computer with thier own program to get all of the factory stuff to work (gages, ABS, etc.). Using LS1 edit I then changed all of the tables to run the 5.7L engine. Now that I have it up and running, the engine runs fine but the trans is not shifting correctly. I have chaned the trans calibration to match a camaro calibration but it doesn't seem to change anything. I wanted to see if I could just go get a camaro flash put on the PCM and get rid of the Flash that was put on it before (I am not really happy with the way this company went about making this wire harness). This would just help me eliminate possible problems with the current flash and figure out what is wrong with the thing.
