Question ASR OFF Light

When I drive my 99Z28 on the freeway after about 7 to 10 miles the "ASR OFF' light comes on until I get off the freeway. Once on regular streets after a few miles the light goes off on the instrument cluster.

Any thoughts what might cause this and how to fix it?

Thanks in advance!

Question

Is ASR system on a 99Z28 anyway Vacuum controlled?

I head that if you have Heads and Cam that at low RPM's it can cause the ASR light to come on?

Any thoughts greatly appreciated.

Any resolution to this?

luckily i had a freind with a tech 2, however, check to make sure all the connections are good, should be a plug on each wheel, if those check good try cleaning the magnet part of the sensor, if that still doesnt work then one of them is bad, unfourtunatly there isnt a way to tell with out a scanner, and im not sure if the one at autozone can read that....

Default Asr Light

My Asr Light Would Come On After Cam Install . I Would Also Get A P0106 Map Sensor Code . I Think The Two Are Linked Together . I Also Believe It Is Linked To Tuning , Because It Would Only Do This With A Chris Marsh Tuned Computer But Not My Ed Wright Tuned Computer . Hope This Helps .

How fast do you go on the freeway? That will happen at speeds over 130 mph. I found out when I made a 161 mph run at Bonneville Speedway.
