Question self tuning...

This may be a stupid question, but... If the average person buys HP tuners and tries to tune their car, can they accindentally over tune something and do damage, or will the car's computer not allow you to go too far?

Make small changes and make them after you are sure of their effect. You can damage a car with any of the tuning suites if used improperly, but don't let that scare you off.
