Default MAF flow numbers? help me out please...

ok just checking on my predator i see the maf lbs/min or whatever. what does this mean? at idle im around .9-.94 or so. with the slp MAF on there it was like .7 or .8. dont know if this has anything to do with tuning the car or whatever so can someone explain to me please.

did you get an uncalibrated maf? if not you need to find and input the new maf scale to the computer.

i have a tune and its the stock MAF with ends, i just really wanna know what those numbers mean and if they mean anything for my tune.....

just means the two are different... should be able to get either sorted out by adjusting the maf frequency along the range to get slightly negative l trims.. i say do it this way instead of IFR table because you didnt change the injectors, you changed the maf.

yeah i had predator tune it so i can get my fuel trims strait and they are just slightly negative, as long at the fuel trims are good then i shouldnt bother lookin at the MAF numbers? just a number? so am i strait?

Means that your SLP MAF is underreporting airflow by
a fair bit, the Predator only knows the standard airflow
for frequency function and the frequency per airflow
characteristic of the SLP MAF is not stock calibrated
but low (to give you more spark advance and lean out
the mixture at WOT, and either the illusion or reality of
increased power output depending on cases).

i dont have the slp maf, i have ported ends on a stock maf sensor, what does this mean now?
