Z28 wont rev past 3k rpm while driving!
Working on my buddy's 99 Z28...the car ran fine. We found rocker arm needle bearing in the oil. So I pulled the off the vavle covers and found the bad rocker arm. I replaced all of the rocker arms with new lq4 6.0 ones that I had. I also took off the egr, A.I.R stuff, changed the plugs and wires. I tuned the codes off for the egr and AIR out. The car now runs great but eveytime you get to 3k rpm it just falls on its face and want rev any farther than 3k when its in gear driving. Feels like a fuel cut or running out of fuel. The rev limts are all set right and it has plenty of gas in the car. The wierd thing is that if its in park or neutral it revs all the way to 6500 rev limt fine. What should I check?

doubt it would be this but the are different rpm fuel cut outs for in gear and park/neutral.
Possibly clogged filter or fuel pump on the way out or a bad regulator. Only way to know is to have a fuel pressure guage on it to see what it happening under high load.
