Question LS1 Log File Analyzer, what is it for?

What is this software for, to help with tuning in LS1 Edit or just for looking at log values from EFI Live or Auto tap?

Just wondering if it's something for all of us to use to tune our cars better.

Thanks in advance,

Bill

Bill,

This software was written by ChrisB to help us tune our VE (Volumetric Efficiency) tables in LS1Edit. Basically you can drive around logging the values needed with either ATAP or EFILive, then using the output from that load it into the LS1 Log File Analyzer and it will calculate your VE values for you.

For detailed (brain numbing) explanation of it all see the following three threads :

Brett.
EFILive V6 Build 22, and after ( I believe it's 22), will calculate VE for you as a calculated PID. I think ChrisB's Analyzer will then sort it for you. I haven't been able to use it yet
