fuel pump relay constantly switching
the other day i flashed a tune into the pcm. 99 f-body pcm. at the end of the flash, when the pump would prime the relay stuck in a cycle switching on and off. i shut the car down, did a reflash, and now it does it all the time. i've tried 3 relays and a new fuel pump, thinking maybe it was the pump that died causing this since its 5 years old now.
is there a way to check the signal from the pcm? or recover it?
i'm using efilive
well to add to this, we put a volt meter on the dark green/white wire at the pcm (fuel pump relay control to see if the voltage sent to the relay was erratic) and now its working fine again. can a computer be bad this way and still function correctly for everything else?
