Default CTS-V and HPT

Picked up a '06 CTS-V. I have HPT already. My question is if there are any special steps before tuning this car? i.e. pull the radio fuse etc..
Let the mods begin

If I remember correctly, you may have to do a read entire, leave the key on, do your changes and do a write entire. I had to do this procedure on one if not the VCM would go into recovery mode.

What Matt said is exactly right. It's really the only thing you have to do. With version 2.22 I could just write calibration though so make sure to get the latest software.

Good deal. I have the latest SW so I should be good to go. So I don't need to pull the radio fuse right? I noticed reading the magnacharger install manual (planning ahead) that they have you pull the radio fuse before using their programmer. Just want to be sure.

Usually no fuses need to be pulled but I beileve the 06 CTSV uses an E67 pcm which will require a write entire for flashing.
