Default PCM Swap

We are doing a trans swap from a 96 t56 to a 94 4l60. my question is since the 94 is obd1 and the 96 is obd2 would we have to get the trans part of the harness and pcm from an obd2 auto car? or can we make the ob1 stuff work?

First off do you want to stay OBD II? Our mechanic has done many M6 to A4 swaps and never changed out the harness, Going from OBDI to OBD II and vice versa so it can be done without changing out the harness...

The transmissions aren't any different from OBDI to OBDII, but the harness is different obviously. I think there are write ups (or at least links to write ups) on how to change the wiring yourself or, of course, you can just get one. Also, you'll either need the computer from an auto car or to flash yours with a tune from an auto to make it work.
