How easy is it to tune using Big Stuff 3?
Hello,
I have read all the positive feedback on the BS3 system. I would love to get one but am wondering if I would be able to teach myself how to tune it.
Obviously it would have to be dyno tuned, but to tweak the tune or to make changes to the setup could I handle it?
I have never tuned a car before, but would like to start and it looks like BS3 is the place to start.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

In my opinion BS3 is the easiest of after market fuel managment systems to both data log and make changes to the air and spark tables. While most all are single fuel and single spark tables the BS3 is a little easier to understand and change.

Thanks for the response.
I have also been contemplating whether I should switch to a carb setup instead?
Any more thoughts would be appreciated.

a second grader could tune bs3. pretty much all you need to know is where you want all your values to be ie. timing and AFR and its no prob to get them there. some of the transient fuel stuff is just a little harder than that but you can just trial and error that and get it straight in no time.
Ive got that trans control option (4l80e) and that's pretty straight forward as well
