Default is it my tuner or is it my injectors?

my tuner has had my car twice on the dyno first time didn't get any numbers he said he was dialing it in. he mentioned though that the injectors were not acting right. i have 42's for the car just in case for future mods. they r racetronics. from what ive heard they r great with no one having difficulities with them. my tuner said that 42's should act like 48's cause of the ls1 fuel pressure but he says that he still has to set it up like they r 42's cause hes having a problem with them. the second time he got some numbers out it and with 423hp i am very displeased according the the manufcture of the motor i should be making 550 crank with the right bolt ons, okmaybe i dont have all the right bolt ons but still. i think i should be putting down like 475 but i will settle for 450 just not 423. btw its a 3600 stall. so i know im gonna loose some power though that. question is......is the tune not right and should i be able to squeeze more out of it or could i have gotten a bad batch of injectors?

ps sorry so long i just like to be thougho

they go in as 48s and you have to modify the pulse width and injector offsets to get them to act right.

Kind of hard to know "what you should be making" since you didn't list any of the details of the setup.

Was your converter locked? I had a 402, AFR 225's milled to 60-ish, 240s cam, Fast90/90, and 1 7/8" put down only 418rwhp on my dynojet because the converter would not stay locked. This is a full weight leather interior TA with a built 4l60. That car ran 11.0 @124 on it's first shakedown pass leaving off idle. That same afternoon another car made just over 420rwhp; an M6 car. That car also ran at Richmond Dragway the same night and MPH'd 118. It made 2 more HP on the wheel dyno and ran 6 MPH slower than a heavier car.

not sure about the converter but i do know that he was doing the pulls in high gear so i guessing he locked it up plus its a stock 4l60 just converter and cooler for now. but i shouldnt have to get to retuned after i get my tranny built right? or do i? also the question still remains is it my tuner not tunning my injectors rights to get the right amount of power or could i have gotten a bad batch. from what i hear so far no one still has said anything about the possibility of the injectors being bad.
