High idle only when ac is on.

High idle only when ac is on. Just curious if any of you guys have experienced this problem... My idle will jump up to from 850 to 1,200 RPMS only when I turn the ac on... It continues to stay high while the car is moving either with the clutch in or out... Once I come to a stop, it will slowly idle down and be fine until I shut the car off... This only happens if u start the car without letting it come to an idle first with ac on.
