Default Torque Management

I have a 2006 Vortec 5.3 Litter I put in my 1969 Chevelle. I just got to do my first test drive and was disappointed in the delay on hard acceleration. Threw some reading I think it is the torque management. Question is if I purchase a programmer such as a Diablo can I turn that off with it? Thanks for the info.

I doubt it just carry it somewhere and get a custom tune.

If its anything like my 06 Trailblazer SS its the torque management. With a custom tune you can remove some or all of it and makes a big difference. It will launch and shift a lot harder...or at least it does in the my TBSS.

Not sure on the new diablo but HPtuners and EFILive can do it and would be a better purchase for further modifications.
