Default torque management and drive by wire help

GRRRRRRR, this isn't working well. i have serious TM, i went thru the steps and still have it bad, expecialy the closing throttle blade at the shift.

here is what i did.

1. Transmission -> A4 Shift Firmness -> Torque Reduction...Fill the whole table with zero's

2. Trans Calibration -> A4 Shift Firmness -> Upshift Torque Reduction...Fill the whole table with zero's

3. Engine -> Ignition -> Max Torque...Set it to 639,

4. Engine -> Ignition -> Torque Reduction...Fill the whole table with zero's

and it didn't seem to make any diference, this things falls on it's face HARD at the shift. here is a section of atap, remember i had it floored the whole time.

You need to shorten the shift speed,raise line pressure,and maybe set shift point earlier.

I think the negative timing is a misread from your scanner.
Does your truck have an electronic throttle?(no cable)

I would just guess the tranny is lazy at shifting.
Did you install a shift kit with the converter?

Are your values negative in the spark retard limit table? If you change them to a positive value of say 15 you will get 15 degrees of timing during a WOT shift.

yeah, most of the problem was in the ETC(electronic throttle control) tables. i thought that was traction control so didn't really mess with it. i have ran into some other problems along the way too but was able to program them out too.

Making that table's values all equal to 100 will completely eliminate traction control even if it were "on". Once one switches T/C off, the table is ignored.

HAHA,Reviving the old thread once again
I am working on a 8.1L ETC truck.Just clarifying that all zero's will effectively rid the ETC Torque Management.
