Engine runs, tach works but can't scan RPMs Hi guys,
Trying to help out a friend that put a built 6.0L that was in a 2004 GTO into a 1998 Camaro M6. Don't know much about the motor, just that its a built iron block 6.0L.
Engine runs, the tach works but when he scans the engine to monitor RPMs it reads zero. He tried a different scanner, same thing. He can read other cars and other sensors just fine.
I'd try scanning with my HP Tuners but he is 2 hours away.
Any ideas of what to check?
