Question Thunder Racing mail order tune?

Has anyone done a mail order tune with TR? Experiences? I was going to go with pcmforless but I know TR is a good shop and I've spent thousands of dollars with them.

Default Mail order

I think Frost does them as well and he might be a better choice.
I think he's one of HP Tuners senior tuners ...

He is with http://www.bmotorsports.com/

Or maybe linked with http://www.lsxtune.com/ As seen on the bottom part of their home page.

I still do the tuning for Thunder Racing. You can deal with me directly if you would like. Althought initially I do charge a little more for the tunes, I do have an excellent track record of getting it right 'right out of the box' and if it isn't, I will work with you until it is right at no additional charge.

I wouldn't be so quick to say that. Geoff Skinner (Thunder's tuner) is one of the few master tuners that EFI Live relies on to do R&D for them. He has trained many skilled tuners around the country including myself. His database of mail order tunes is one of the largest in the world. He's been laptop tuning since the mid '90s. Chances are really good that he's tuned just about every odd-ball combination of LS1, LT1 that you can imagine. Can't say that about every tuner on this board. Experience counts for a lot in this area.

I would either go with TSP or thunder. I used both and there mail order tunes have been off from anywhere to 3 to 7 hp from my cars that were dyno tuned.

Okay, thanks. I'm just doing a mild h/c setup, waiting on my heads to ship hopefully next week and then I will get with you.

Ha, I was just trying to stir things up. Thunder Racing was always on the forefront of fast 4th gens, I'm sure tuning played a big part in that.
