Default Anybody see e/t drops with frost tuning?

I have a 02 ss with 3500 converter and 3" ypipe. I talked to frost today and want to get a mail order tune to help my rev limiter and stuff. I am going to get it dynotuned but it will be after I get headers, nitrous, and some other stuff. The tune from him should help my et out some shouldn't it?

Possibly. Mostly stock cars don't really gain a ton of power. Rev limiter and all that stuff may add up to something though. Don't expect much and you'll never be dissappointed.

What does your car run now?

I run around a 8.0, have seen a 7.90 in the 1/8th. I would be happy with a tenth or two. Just wondering. Needs to be done anyway, with the 3000 converter it was fine but with the 3500 converter it hits rev limiter and can't go from a kick cause it hits rev limiter and stuff like that.

Yea, most stock cars don't see much... Here In Vegas Tuned a stock car from 275 HP up to 300hp- Went from 14.1 to 13.7 in the 1/4 - but that isnt mail order - thats actual trail tuning.

Yea, I want it dynotuned but I just hate to spend that kind of money when I will have to have it done again by next spring when I get headers, nitrous, and some other stuff. I don't know what to do.

Mail order tunes are not final tunes. To maximize your combo, you need to get your WOT AFR & Spark in line with a WB 02.

My bolt-on car picked up 2mph from a frost tune in the quarter. Done the runs back to back.
