Default Question about how far off my tune is...

I am running a tune my buddy had on his car last year...

224/228 641/646 @ 110, ported 5.3 heads,LS6 intake, pacesetter longtubes, hooker catback, slp underdrive pulley.

He went something like 11.99 at 119, he cant drive it, lol.

I am running that motor in my car this year but minus the LS6 intake and ported heads, i am running stock heads and the stock ls1 intake.

Now, on to my question, how far off is my tune? Would this make it rich, lean? I have driven it all year like this and the plugs dont show any evidence of being rich or lean at all.

I went 12.6 @ 111 with this motor and his tune. Am i risking hurting something? Will an Ls6 intake help even things out, or are they heads the biggest difference?

Thanks, i have to decide on either getting it dyno tuned again, or buying the intake and continue to use his old tune.

How can you figure your running "That Motor"? You change the entire top end.

Yes your tune will be off. Either match his setup or get tuned for what you have now.

I will merely asking if anyone thought it was running richer or leaner due to the top end change....i know it was off before i posted, thanks for that though.

Since no one on here can see what your tune looks like, there is no way for someone on the internet to tell you if your tune is off. Hook up a wideband and check your AFR. The tune will most likely have room for improvement since every vehicle and combination is different. The LS6 intake would be a good improvement, even with stock heads.
