Question NEWBIE QUESTION:Can I loose my tune???

About a week ago I decided to instal a new stereo/system on my car, sooooo I decided to disconnect my battery. After connected it I turn on the car and it idled REALLY low then turned off. I got it to turn back on floored the living **** out of it then ran somewhat ok after that. All it is doing is bogging really bad and idles LOW at times (like at 5k) it normally idled at 8k. My mods are h/c/i. The question is can I loose my tune by disconnecting the battery? Lmk what ya think, thanks...

No, it is just re-learning the air and fuel portions... drive on it for a bit, it should come back around.

Disconnecting the battery won't change the tune. Idle being grumpy is normal until it relearns.

Idle air trims learn very slowly. It will gradually get better as you go unless there is a problem. Just drive it.
