PO134 after LT install........Insight?
Heres the story. I installed my Pacesetter LTs (02 WS6 Trans am) about 3 weeks ago and made the mistake of connecting the rear O2s in the bungs thinking "This is too easy" only to through a code right off the bat. Then I realize what the extra wire was for (DOH) So I splice the correct O2s and install them in the bungs. All is good for a week then I get this code PO153-Bank 2 Sensor 1 slow responce. I jack the car up and check the wires making sure they arn't burnt up and all appears good. Any clues? I didn't solder the connections because my iron is not getting hot enough. I just used the crimp connectors and taped the crap out of everything. I used copper antiseize thats alright isn't it?
Not trying to sound stupid but what side is bank 2? Also, Are all the O2s the same concidering I have 2 more.

I remember now that there were 2 brown wires I may have mixed the 2 up. Would this cause the problem I'm having? I can't understand why they would use 2 same color wires in any one harness. I remember I pulled back the covering and just cut the wires in the middle not paying attention to which wire was which (I won't do that again).

If there are 2 wires the same colour, that O2 has been replaced. Those 2 same colour brown wires will be for the heater circuit, not the signal. They can be switched around with no problem.
And about your crimp connectors, that is a very poor way to make a connection, especially in the hostile environment under a car. 100% chance it will fail, only question is how long will it last.

I'm not saying they haven't been replaced but I got the car with only 36,000 miles and both of them (bank 1, and bank2 ) had 2 brown wires. As for the crimp connectors. Yeah, I know they suck but I couldn't get the wires to accept the solder for some reason. It would blend with the factory wire but would have nothing to do with the extention. I plan on redoing it soon anyway. A bad connection may be my problem.
