Anyone clarify this for me??
I have HPT Pro, just bought the LC1 kit. looking into hooking it up and i read about going thru the EGR signal.
Then i read something about how you dont have to do that if you have HPT Pro.
Have I been chasing my tail?!?
i see the wire diagram showing how to hook the LC1 up to the interface with the BROWN wire into the HPT interface. and also running a ground wire to the common ground used for the system, heater and pushbutton calibration ground.
SO... can I just forget about the hassle of running wires to the pcm??

I had an LC1 before I switched to an AFX.
If you have the pro version of HPTuners, you can connect wires to the side of the box. First 4 are inputs, middle 2 are grounds, last 2 are programmable outputs. You need to connect one output wire from the LC1 to one input on the HP box. I would connect it directly like this if you have the pro version.
If not, There is a way to connect the wideband to the PCM via a not used 0-5V input like the EGR. Since I had the pro version I never need to do this.
