loose wire coming out of PCM... what's it for?

loose wire coming out of PCM... what's it for? Hey guys I was cleaning up my PCM harness wiring. I have a h/c/i/e 2001 LS1 swapped into a Mazda RX7. Anyway as i was cleaning up some wires and removing ones i didn't need I came across this one wire coming out of the red PCM plug
pin 53 GRA/BLK circuit no. 1687 spark Retard Signal
can anybody tell me what it's for? if i need to wire it back into something or if its not important... when i took all the loom/electrical tape of my harness it was just loose in there not connected to anything

What the 2 previous posters said...
That's how the traction control function in the EBCM requests the PCM to reduce ignition timing (i.e. to reduce engine torque output).

alright thanks guys! just wanted to make sure it was nothing important. I don't have the traction control system in my swap so i dont need to worry about t
