fbody traction control - tuning for good launch possible?
i searched around a bit, but could find limited information on this. mostly good hints from jimmyblue regarding how it functions (detect slip, retard spark, relax throttle, apply brakes) and what would be best (retard spark, skipping throttle relax).
patrick g also indicated he had some tricks, but never dropped them.
my question is this: has anyone tuned traction control to be useful? if so, please post up your tune.
also, is there a way to tune the throttle relaxing function?

I have come to believe it's too clumsy to train, took
out the TCS cables. The relaxer is a separate "brain"
and it's a dumb little one. The only thing I found to
be helpful was increasing the spark retard limits for
TCS, which lets it play more with that before falling
back to Plan B (drop throttle and upshift, swell).
Spark is the only mode with any agility and no bad
consequences.

any adverse effects from removing tcs cables? does removing them allow the spark retard to come on or does the system think there's an error and disable itself?
what spark adjustments do you think would work with a stalled auto - double the values?
thanks!
