Default megasquirt piggy back?

Anyone have any info on using a megasquirt as a piggy back? I'm doing a budget turbo build, lq4 and a 4l80e in a mustang. Is it possible for the stock pcm to control spark and the tranny, megasquirt control fuel?

It is way easier to use the stock lq4 pcm to run everything. We ran MS in a turbo mustang w/lq4 and an MSD for spark. Same setup in our 89 c1500 5.3 turbo. when we switched back to a stock PCM and used Hptuners both rigs ran way better, smoother, and were faster n the end. JMHO

My original plan was stock pcm and hptuners, but I have a ms laying around from a previous project. I'm gonna run 150lb injectors and thought if the ms can control them, why not.
