Default Drilling Throttle body?

What size increments should I drill? I am doing this since my idle is a little rough, and hunts a little if I come to a quick stop. I also get an error code if it idles for any amount of time. The misfire (i am assuming) goes away if I bring the RPM's up. I am going to Dyno tune it maybe tommorow, should I wait before I drill the hole out?

Thanks
Kevin
