Question obd1 to obd2 conversion ?

does anyone know if i can do a obd1 to an obd2 conversion on a 94 z28. if i can is it difficult ? whats it cost to do it?

i want to put in an ecogauge and it plugs into the obd but only obd2s

i havent checked yet cause my cars in my shop but i heard that late 94 cars had obd2 connecters but obd1 computers like the 95s did. might you know the cut off date for when they hcnaged that on the 94s?

It was in 95 when they started changing over. All 94s had rectangle odb1 connectors.

an LT1 OBD2 PCM will plug right into the OBD1 plugs. You will need to change to a newer knock sensor though. Also you'll need to order an OBD2 socket and repin the ALDL port for the OBD2 connector.
