Other GM cars w/EFI Live?
If I get EFI Live, can I use it on other GM cars and still get the regular Autotap functions to work, or will it even work at all?

It will work on other GM cars, I've even had it hooked onto a Duramax.
When it connects to the vehicle it checks what parameters are supported by the PCM and you then get access to whatever they are.
However, some of the additional features are only for the LS1.

EFILive only ships with a configuration file containing the enhanced parameters for the LS1/LS6 PCMs.
EFILive is also a generic GM OBD II scanner. The generic PIDs {SAE.*} should be available for all GM OBD II vehicles.
Reading and clearing trouble codes and other EPA functions will also work on all GM OBD II vehicles.
The actual EFILive software is capable of logging enhanced data on any GM vehicle. So long as you set up the right enhanced PID configuration file for any non-LS1/LS6 that you want to use.
I believe someone is currently setting up an enhanced definition for the OBD II LT1.

Great! I basically just want to be able to get and clear codes on other vehicles too, there are a lot of OBDII GM cars among my family and friends!! Sounds like EFI Live will do this for me.
